Jet wins Alpe Adria Agility Open

At the beginning of May, we competed in the Alpe Adria Agility Open. This is a not too big, but international competition in Karinthia. I think competitions held in the spring always have special atmosphere, as finally we can run under the sun, on grass, and the air is full of nice scents. I always love this feeling.

In the nicely organised event Zejko Gora was judging, he built quite kind courses. I liked especially the final Open Jumping Course, what was quite technical and fast.

We started the first agility run in a very strange mood, I don’t know why but I was very nervous, what affected my handling and most of all my state of mind. We could run the course clean but at about 3 points I handled it differently from what I planned at the coursewalk.

Then, the second and final run was fine. I wanted to practice to run free and smooth and fast and more or less I could make some improvement in that, though there’s still room for a lot of improvement.

Out of 3 runs we won 2 and in the first agility run we came second. We won the final Open Jumping for what I was really happy of course.
